Senior Demand Planner

Job Description
Position Purpose
* Work with key Bayer Indonesia Consumer Care Marketing, Sales and Commercial business partners to generate Demand Forecasts (rolling 36 month by sku) that will be used to:
o Generate accurate business financial forecasts for quarterly budgeting process
o manage & minimize financial exposure associated with excess, obsolete and
o ageing finished goods inventory
o maximize customer service by careful allocation planning of scarce inventory
o against sales orders


Major Responsibility Areas
* Ownership of the ongoing Demand Review component of the monthly Sales & operations Planning Cycle for Indonesia
* Generation of rolling 36 month SKU level forecasts using provided Excel & SAP tools and timely loading of forecasts into SAP
* Achievement of shared Consumer Care Indonesia forecast accuracy targets
* Analysis of forecast & stock levels to identify potential stock-outs, obsolete & excessive inventory to be regularly communicated to the business.
* Assist the Consumer Care business in decision making by providing ad hoc support in the analysis and modelling of demand impacts from pricing changes, promotional / seasonal uplifts and product ranging decisions
* Work as an active member of the BHC Indonesia Demand Planning team in striving for best practice S&OP processes
* Support of monthly supply chain reporting needs of the Consumer Care business to local and global colleagues

Requirements And Qualifications
* Personal Charachteristics
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Well-developed analysis and problem solving skills
* Education
* Graduate qualification in Supply Chain, Commerce or Business degrees

Experience
* Three to five years experience in FMCG or Healthcare OTC demand planning
* MS Excel & Access (macros / sumif / match&index / forecast modelling
/ database creation & management)
* Experienced user of SAP R/3 MM/PP, APO and BW highly regarded
* Knowledge of Oliver Wight IBM process strongly preferred
