Corporate History

Beginning in the late 19th century, the development of electricity in Indonesia was intensified in several Dutch Companies operating in sugar and tea plantation that developed power plant to meet their personal needs.



Between 1942-1945, there was a great shift from these Dutch manufacturing companies by the Japanese after the Dutch surrendered to the Japanese army in the beginning of World War II.

The shift reoccurred at the end of World War II in August 1945 when the Japanese surrendered to the Allied Forces. This opportunity was taken over by the youths and electricity labourers through Labour/Employee Electricity and Gas delegation together with the Management of KNI Head Office to meet President Soekarno to ask the handover of the Companies to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. On October 27, 1945, President Soekarno established Electricity and Gas Bureau under the Departement of Public Works and Energy with power plant capacity of 157.5 MW.

On January 1, 1961, Gas and Electricity Bureau was changed to BPU-PLN (Board of General Administration of the State Electricity Company) that focused on electricity, gas and coke sectors. On January 1, 1965 BPU-PLN was dismissed and 2 (two) state owned enterprises were formalised, namely Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), a state-owned electricity company, to manage electrity power and Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) to manage gas power.

In 1972, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 17, the State-owned Electricity Company was enacted as a State-owned General Electricity Company and as PKUK responsible to provide electricity to meet public needs. While the Government policy was giving opportunity to the Private Sectors to focus on the provision of electricity, the status of PLN was changed from a General Company to Corporation’ as well as PKUK in providing electricity for public needs until the present.

3. Persyaratan :

Jenis Kelamin : Laki-Laki
Status belum menikah dan bersedia tidak menikah selama menjalani Diklat Prajabatan;
Lulus S1/D4 atau D3 Teknik Listrik/Elektro Arus Kuat dari :

- Universitas Indonesia (UI)

- Politeknik Negeri jakarta (PNJ)

- Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)

- Sekolah Vokasi UGM

- Universitas Diponegoro

- Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines)

- Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)

- Politeknik Negeri Malang (Polinema)

- Universitas Brawijaya (Unibraw)

- Universitas Airlangga (Unair)

- Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)

- Politeknik negeri Bandung (Polban)

Dengan batas usia :

a) S1/D4 : Kelahiran 1987 dan sesudahnya

b) D3 : Kelahiran 1989 dan sesudahnya

Nilai IPK > 2,75


4. Mengisi data pendaftaran dan menyerahkan berkas lamaran di CDC FT UI (Gedung Engineering Center Lantai 3 Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia) Depok pada jam kerja : Senin- Jumat 08.00 – 16.00, Sabtu 2 November 2013 : 09.00 – 16.00

Kelengkapan Berkas lamaran sebagai berikut :

a. Surat Lamaran yang ditujukan kepada

PT PLN (Persero) Kantor Pusat

c.q. Kepala Divisi Pengembangan SDM dan Talenta

b. Riwayat Hidup (CV);

c. Copy akte kelahiran (jika belum ada, bisa disusulkan pada saat tes psikologi);

d. Copy Ijasah/Surat Keterangan Lulus yang dilegalisir;

e. Copy transkrip nilai terakhir yang dilegalisir;

f. Copy KTP;

g. Pasfoto terbaru ukuran 3x4 sebanyak 2 lembar ;

f. Bagi Pelamar dari lulusan program Lintas Jalur (D3 yang meneruskan S1/D4), wajib melampirkan :

Transkrip nilai D3 yang dilegalisir
Ijazah D3 yang dilegalisir

Selama proses seleksi, apabila ada ketidaksesuaian data, peserta dinyatakan GUGUR.

5. Pelamar hanya diperbolehkan memilih 1 (satu) Jurusan sesuai tingkat pendidikan.

6. Panggilan peserta, kelulusan tiap tahapan tes dan lokasi tes akan diumumkan melalui website cdc.eng.ui.ac.id serta ditempel di lokasi tes.

7. Tahapan Seleksi Meliputi:

Seleksi Administrasi
Tes Psikologi dan diskusi kelompok
Tes Kesehatan
Wawancara
Diklat Prajabatan


LAIN-LAIN:

1. Peserta yang dinyatakan memenuhi syarat seleksi akhir akan diangkat sebagai Pegawai PT PLN (Persero) dengan tingkat / level jabatan sebagai berikut :

Tingkat D3 pada Grade Basic 2
Tingkat S1/D4 pada Grade Specific 4

2. Tidak ada korespondensi berkaitan dengan rekrutmen ini dan keputusan Tim Penerimaan Pegawai tidak dapat diganggu gugat

3. Tidak dipungut biaya apapun dalam mengikuti seleksi yang diselenggarakan oleh PT PLN (Persero).

4. Tidak ada sistem refund atau penggantian biaya transportasi dan akomodasi yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan seleksi dan PT PLN (Persero) tidak bertanggungjawab atas segala kerugian korban penipuan.
