The company was established on August 26, 1953 under the name NV Pembangunan Perumahan. Changed its name to PN Pembangunan Perumahan through Government Regulation No. 63 of 1960. Based on Government Regulation no. 39 in 1971 were transferred to PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero)
