PT Pengembang Pelabuhan Indonesia (PPI) is a recently formed subsidiary of IPC (Pelindo 2) responsible for the development of the New Priok container and product terminals.
Our multi-billion dollar project will more than double the size of the existing Tanjung Priok port. Work has begun on this huge project and we are now seeking motivated and qualified staff for the following positions to join our small team located at Tanjung Priok.
FINANCE & ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Reports to:
CFO (expatriate)
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience required
5-8 years experience as F&A Manager, preferably in construction company, multinational company or audit background
Experienced in Oracle financials.
Strong organization follow-up and analytical skills with the ability to collect, access and report factual data and present logical conclusions
Ability to work well with PPI and head office staff and external parties such as advisors, banks and auditors
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Problem solver, result oriented and able to work under minimum supervision.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
High proficiency in Excel
Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with PPI’s process and procedures and GAAP
Manage cash flows and prepare monthly cash flows projections
Assist in preparation of budgets and variance analysis
Review all necessary reports and schedule for statutory/ tax reporting
Review contract claims/supplier invoices an supporting documents
Monitor Accounts Payable
Review invoices/tax invoices before they are sent to the customers
Highlight any lapses and violations to the internal control, polices and procedures
Ensure that Inter-Company transactions are recorded properly and all related documents are issued/received for tax purposes
Motivate and coach staff to ensure that all employees are correctly and regularly trained and updated on company’s financial and reporting procedures
Other duties related to Finance and accounting department as assigned
