Position requirements
Australian Red Cross is seeking an experienced Projects Manager to ensure the quality delivery of Australian Red Cross programs in Simeulue. To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- significant experience in project management, inclusive of (but not limited to) assessment, monitoring, evaluation, budgets and expenditure
- sound practical experience in program management in a development context
- experience of managing a medium sized (+/- AUS$2 million) program in a difficult remote setting
- proven capacity and experience in team management and developed skills in building staff capacity
- excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills and experience working with external stakeholders
- an understanding of Red Cross/ Red Crescent principles
